Six million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s Disease. Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is the second-most-common neurodegenerative disease following Alzheimer’s. In Canada, over 100,000 people are living with Parkinson’s today and approximately 6,600 new cases of PD are diagnosed each year.

While there is no known cure for Parkinson’s, The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure through an aggressively funded research agenda and ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today.
